Jerry, just so you might feel better, and quit having those flashbacks (I too know what they're like). My older son was over half the bowling alley away, still bowling, younger son was at the other end of bowling alley looking for his shoes and jacket, and my daughter was pushing buttons on the jukebox. All in complete oblivion. :o) Do what Donna says... "Smile."

With all the media out there advertising the BIG DAY, few people can take such attempts seriously. I'm not saying some idiots are not trying to affect things that way but handouts have at best minimal impact. If they start saying things on gov websites, radio, or TV then we have a case. If this problem exists then its a minimal one but we'll see.

Somehow I doubt once Obama is president, the registration thing for instance will remain something to be pursued while this type of voter manipulation will get major attention and if found to exist then someone will go to jail.

The cynic in me though would wonder if its a plot to generate sympathy or outrage among Dems too. There has been much BS going on from what I can see in both parties so far this election cycle and nobody seems to have clean hands

Jerry, I saw the video but he cited nothing concrete. I remember the hullaboo about 2000/2004 but never saw anything that actually backed up claims. There was all kinds of rhetoric but no stats or evidence that I saw. Maybe I missed something so thats why I asked if you had seen anything in that regard.
